Mexico .- PlayStation is looking to hire people so work for them testing games sounds too good to be true. But it is.
PlayStation published several job offers in which it looks for people to play the video games from the Sony console, as well as to look for errors in the dubbing and in the translation of videogames.
These job offers were published on Indeed; the description asks potential employees: “Do you have a passion for languages and games? Do you like to find linguistic errors in video games? Would you like to be part of an international team whose work impacts players around the world? Then we would love to hear from you! ”
They have also requested that you must have a good level of knowledge of the required languages (Russian, Portuguese and Arabic), that is, use of grammar, spelling and punctuation, as well as a good attention to detail to provide corrections when errors occur.
The vacancies, which are based in Liverpool, report that the working hours are 37.5 hours a week, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Salary for the position has yet to be determined.
Skills and experience you need for the job include:
- Fluency in English and one or more languages
- Passionate gamer
- Good knowledge of games of computer in multiple platforms
- Practical knowledge of the MS Office package
- Basic understanding of the development cycle and the limitations
