Samsung is pleasing home buyers with a gallant exchange. Those looking to buy the slightly vomited Galaxy Fold 5G can now get a cheaper offspring.
It took a lot of courage (and of course money) for someone to invest in Samsung's first, flexible display smartphone, the Galaxy Z Fold 5G. The South Korean manufacturer now wants to reimburse this as part of a buy-back campaign, so customers who buy the successor model can get one million Korean won for the device.
for a brand new amount paid for Galaxy Z Fold2. The repurchase campaign has two more important conditions,
- only the first 15,000 buyers can live with it,
- and only in South Korea
In the Asian country, by the way, the Galaxy Z Fold2 will be released on September 15, the current Galaxy Z Fold owners can bring their old device to a store at the earliest at that time, but no later than September 25. The company will pay the amount in arrears to the buyer's bank account, provided it is in proper condition.
It is not a matter of how lenient the manufacturer will be in terms of the condition of the hinge and display surface.
