EU .- Chadwick Boseman was buried near his hometown in South Carolina six days after he died at his home in Los Angeles, says a death certificate.
The protagonist of Black Panther was buried on September 3 at the Welfare Baptist Church Cemetery in Belton, South Carolina, about 18 kilometers (11 miles) from his native Anderson, says the Los Angeles County Act; in addition, a memorial service was held the following day.
The star of the Marvel Universe died at his home near Griffith Park in Los Angeles on August 28, the certificate indicates.
The immediate cause was listed as multi-organ dysfunction syndrome, and the underlying cause as colon cancer, a disease his family previously said he had been diagnosed with four years earlier.
Very few outside of his family knew that the actor faced an uphill battle with cancer when he died at age 43.
